online-betting Welcome to the Paradise Newsletter

NB: As of issue 20, the newsletter is hosted WITHIN the forum, to allow you, the reader, to interact with the authors as never before. Ask questions, make comments, request further information etc! Over time we'll be moving all the previous issues into the forum also, where you'll enjoy full search capabilities etc
Welcome. You are entering the Paradise Newsletter zone. Please leave your preconceptions at the door. Those of you new to us (and may I ask: where have you been?) let's gen up on the history and rewind the clock to the newsletter's genesis

The Punters' Paradise newsletter began life at the beginning of 2005. Its mission statement was simply to inform and entertain. We knew that there was a dearth of good gambling publications out there and we wanted a spiky, take-no-prisoners missive that was not afraid to tell you exactly how it was and how it should be in the world of gambling.

"No one gets to the heart of a complex issue like The Chief with his laserguided sight for the humbug and hypocrisies of the sport of kings"

Our first key signing was Ian Davies, undisputed chief of Back and Lay, former racing journalist and the man who transformed flutter.com's fortunes. No one gets to the heart of a complex issue like The Chief with his laserguided sight for the humbug and hypocrisies of the sport of kings and a wicked turn of phrase that leaves the British Horseracing Board and other foes quaking in their boots.

"Before we knew where we were we had assembled one of the strongest lineups of gambling talent in the history of the electronic word."

Davies was quickly joined by Doctor of Danger. The boy-genius firebrand and nemesis of correct score compilers brought his phenomenal knowledge of probability and betting theory to the table combined with a love of rugby union and a workrate that would make his hero James Brown himself be, like, "dude..."

They were rounded up by misunderstood loose cannon Jamdog who writes a mean piece himself when he can be bothered. Able support came in the form of the likes of Mr Onemore, Richard Hills is God , St Paulo, Grasshopper and Gulf King.

Before we knew where we were we had assembled one of the strongest lineups of gambling talent in the history of the electronic word. And we were only just getting started.

So after four critically acclaimed issues we decided to move here, our new home. We hope you enjoy the newsletter material and cordially invite you to discuss any of the issues raised in the Paradise forum.

Keep the faith.
