online-betting Introducing Non-League Gambler

Another Mug Punter gives you a guided tour of his sparkling new site.

One word – why?

I thought that there must be a better way. Essentially I wanted to see all the information from the various screens on one page. This site does this
The site exists to provide you with all the information required to take an opinion on a fixture. Statistics is a major part of this. On site you will find league tables, form tables and fixtures. We also have a unique “match-up” tool which was developed exclusively by myself and “Doctor of Danger”.

The last few seasons if I was looking into a particular fixture I’d have to have lots of windows open and a sharp memory. I’d open the league table, overall form tables (broken down into number of games 8,6,4 - so there’s another 6 windows) and results. I’d then flick between the two. I spent a lot of time researching fixtures. Too much time in my opinion.

I thought that there must be a better way. Essentially I wanted to see all the information from the various screens on one page. This site does this. The stats will help you get a rough idea of what the price should be.

So stats is the main thing your site offers?

Not at all. I’ve seen people bet, tip and lose based on stats alone. I’m a firm believer that’s how the bookies price up this level of football. Pricing based on form and league tables. With 134 teams being priced up every week how could they do otherwise?

No where else on the net has this number(600+) of non-league links
This site allows you access to all the previously hard to find sites that provide all the qualitative information that pushes you ahead of the game. Injuries, suspensions, transfers and match reports can be found from our four classes of links “Offical Websites, Unoffical Websites, Fan’s forums and local press”.

Our site has over 600 links, searchable by club and league. No where else on the net has this number of non league links for all of the Step 1- 3 (Conference National, Conference North, Conference South, Ryman, Unibond and Southern League) teams.

Very impressive. So stats and links, anything else?

Well, this site will carry all of my tips and the means to discuss them with other NL punters. The site also has my record and list of bets from last season so you can see what to expect. NonLeagueGambler will also have a selection of relevant new stories, which are updated daily. It really is a one-stop shop!

Would you like to give any message to viewers of your site?

I welcome your feedback on things like tips or any ideas for the site. This site was created by gamblers for gamblers. I don’t just tip for the sake of it. I’ll be investing my hard one on everything tipped on this site.

I welcome your feedback on things like tips or any ideas for the site. Feel free to contact me by email or even better you can get involved by posting on the forum! Like others who spend time in forums I have to ask myself what the attraction is. For me it’s a few things. I’ve been lucky to have numerous friends but only a few of them gamble. None of them go to the lengths of checking the internet for information, but their £10 / £20 occasional trebles or live game bets probably don’t necessitate it. So the opportunity to have a bit of banter and discuss winners and losers online is great.

I like writing tips too, and this is probably my writer side coming through. I use the process as a sounding board for myself. I’m grateful for people saying they like the style of my tips. My rationale is that if I can’t convince others that the bet is a good one then I shouldn’t be punting on it in the first place. To this end my tips are sometimes quite lengthy affairs, but I like to present both stats and opinion. If others come to the same conclusion that it’s a good bet I’m on the right path. If it goes down (and they do) the fact that others agreed that it looked good is a consolation. I’d rather have the money though!

I‘m a “Forum Purist”, in that I believe a forum should be about a collection of like minded individuals sharing information to beat the bookies. This has got me into problems in the past (no prizes for guessing where or with who) as this does conflict with “business interests” shall we say…

Thanks, and good luck for the new season.

A.M.P.
